Where is Sweden?

Sweden is in the Nordic region in northern Europe. The Nordic region has five countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Sweden is the largest country in the Nordic region. The northern part of Sweden lies above the Arctic Circle.

Sweden is a long, narrow country. It stretches about 1,600 kilometres from Treriksröset in the north to Smygehuk in the south. Sweden borders Norway to the west and Finland to the east. To the south is Denmark. The Öresund Bridge connects Sweden and Denmark and is both a bridge and a tunnel.
